Privacy Policy

BRIX is built so that your data stays with you. This policy covers BRIX for computers and the “BRIX — AI Agents” app for iPhone.

Last updated: October 14, 2026

In short

  • The iPhone app collects no data: no account, no analytics, no ads, no tracking.
  • It talks to the BRIX on your own computer, with end-to-end encryption.
  • Your projects, agent conversations and files stay on your computer. We have no access to them.

1. Phone app (BRIX for iPhone)

The phone app has no account, collects no data and sends nothing to our servers or to third parties. That is why its App Store listing says “Data Not Collected”. It connects to the BRIX on your computer, and only to it.

  • Camera: used only to read the pairing QR code. No image is recorded or sent.
  • Local network: used only to talk to your computer when both are on the same network.
  • Only the pairing keys (in the iOS Keychain) and your appearance preferences are kept on the device.
  • The device name (for example, “iPhone”) and platform go only to the BRIX on your computer, during pairing.
  • We use no tracking, advertising or analytics in the phone app.

2. Access from another network (relay)

Away from your local network, the app talks to your computer through a relay hosted on Cloudflare. The relay only forwards data that is already end-to-end encrypted between your iPhone and your computer: it cannot read the content and does not store it.

To keep anyone else from using the relay, it checks the user’s subscription through the BRIX login (Supabase). In that check it keeps only a hash of the user identifier and the subscription plan. It does not keep your e-mail, conversations, files or project content.

3. Push notifications

The app can notify you, for example, when an agent finishes a task or needs an approval. The text of these notifications is fixed and generic: it never contains conversation excerpts, file names or project content. Delivery goes through Apple’s notification service. To be able to send them, the relay stores your device’s notification token, encrypted (the encryption key exists only on the relay server), and uses it only for these fixed-text notifications. The token is deleted when the pairing is revoked. You can turn notifications off at any time in iPhone Settings.

4. Desktop app (BRIX desktop)

Your projects, agent conversations, files, knowledge bases and histories stay on your computer’s disk. We have no access to them.

We use an authentication service (Supabase) only for sign-in and to check your plan: your e-mail and subscription status. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe; we neither see nor store your card details.

The AI agents you use (such as Claude Code, Codex and others) run with your own accounts and keys, subject to those providers’ policies. BRIX does not intermediate or store those conversations outside your computer.

The BRIX Farm game, when enabled, syncs anonymous game-economy events (type, amount and date), with no project content.

5. Your rights

You can erase the phone’s data by deleting the app or tapping “Forget this computer”. Your project data is on your computer, and you delete it like any other file.

To request access, correction or deletion of your sign-in and subscription data, write to thiagomendesmed@gmail.com.

6. Changes to this policy

If anything changes in a relevant way, we update this page and the date at the top. If the phone app ever starts collecting any data, we will say so beforehand, on the App Store and here.
